A source close to the cabinet said that three Sadr Movement ministers might resign because of initial complaints that they were incompetent. They include transport minister Karim Mahdi Salih, minister of state for tourism and antiquities Liwaa Semeism and minister of state for governorate affairs Saad Taher al-Hashimi. He said the committee nominated them quickly and did not make the right choices for the posts. Sadr Movement was allotted six ministerial posts and leader Muqtada al-Sadr pushed to control public services ministries. The movement has 30 seats in the (275-member) parliament.
