Abakhon has more than 20 years experience in international management, working with the UN and other major organisations in Central Asia, Afghanistan and the US. He has delivered both regional and country-specific projects for international donors such as the US Department of State, the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, and the European Commission. His focus is expanding organisational impacts and cultivating stakeholder networks, fostering growth while delivering programmes on media development, civil society support, human rights, research and analytics amid the most challenging conditions.
