Thomas Baker

Tom is an Associate Regional Director for IWPR’s Africa and Eastern Europe programming, overseeing activities in Kenya, Nigeria, Georgia and Ukraine. Interests include media development, responses to mis/disinformation, and behaviour change communication. Thomas previously worked for BBC Media Action, supporting the delivery of health and governance programmes in Kenya and Somalia, and climate focused programmes in Bangladesh. Thomas recently gained an MSc from Goldsmith University's Psychology Department, researching false memories in music listening.
