Yadigar Sadiqov is a leading member of the opposition Musavat party in Azerbaijan. He was arrested in June 2013 and sentenced to six years in prison in January 2014. The charge was that he used a mobile phone to hit a man; he denies the allegation and his lawyer has highlighted large gaps in the prosecution case.
