Border forces arrested on December 11 two Saudi terrorists who tried to infiltrate Iraq through al-Samawa desert to carry out terrorist acts. Sadoon al-Jaberi, the border patrol spokesman in Najaf, said the two men were arrested 30 kilometres inside the Iraqi border. One is a Saudi police officer (Mohammed Saeed Abdallah al-Kahtani, 35) and the other one is a teacher (Hadi Ammash Sulaiman al-Shummary, 33.) They admitted that they entered Iraq to conduct terrorist acts during the elections. The police confiscated communication equipment they were carrying and about 1,800 US dollars.
