Baghdad University Seeks Protection for Professors

Baghdad University called on security offices to provide security and protection for all of its professors, colleges and universities. Deputy dean for scientific affairs, Hathim al-Rubai, said the university has called on civil society associations to educate people through media outlets about the importance of protecting the country's scientific elements. He added that all professors should reject sectarian issues within universities and urged students to show respect for the professors. He said measures would be taken against those who violate the directives.
