Rockets were fired at a base used by US-led Coalition forces in the south-eastern province of Khost, but there was no damage or casualties, government officials said on December 13. An Afghan defence ministry spokesman said three rockets were fired at a Coalition base located in the Sarabagh area of Khost province. Provincial police chief General Mohammad Ayoub confirmed the attack, adding that another three rockets which were ready for launching were found and defused by Afghan and Coalition troops.
