Committees Formed Following Cairo Conference

Iraqi political groups participating in preparatory Iraqi reconciliation conference in Cairo agreed to form three committees to follow up on decisions taken in the meeting last weekend. The first committee will work to prepare the national conference that will be held in Baghdad after the (December 15, 2005) elections. The second committee will work to bridging gaps among the different groups; and the third commission will draft the final declaration of the preparatory meeting. Sources from inside the conference said the largest issue of disagreement was the withdrawal of the foreign forces from Iraq.
