Judge Alphonsus Orie has already acted as a defence counsel in the trial of Dusko Tadic, who was accused of alleged crimes also covered by the Krajisnik indictment.
While Orie withdrew from the case before sentence was passed, defence counsel Dejan Brasic argued that the judge’s impartiality may have been affected by his involvement. Presiding judge Liu Daqun is now considering her decision.
