Defence and Interior Ministries Should Have Technocrat

The Kurdistan Alliance and other lists believed that the ministries of defence and the interior should be run by technocrats or parties that do not have private militias, Kurdistan Alliance member Mahmood Osman said. He noted that the ministries are directly connected to public security. Osman emphasized the importance of coordination between the two ministries. He laid responsibility for the deteriorating security situation on the Iraqi government and US forces.
