Amid the crisis, we forgot our co-worker Atwar, the martyr. Every time a journalist is killed, we are puzzled and asked ourselves whether the person who committed the crime is an Iraqi or someone who came from outside of the borders -- someone motivated to ignite a sectarian conflict by practicing his deadly hobby in killing the Iraqi people who are fed up with the problems. The latest media casualty was Atwar (Bahjat, an al-Arabiya correspondent who was killed shortly after the Samarra bombing last week.) She was enthusiastic to cover the hot events live rather than writing reports from her office. She was faithful to her work and adored it. Her soul will keep hovering around us and around her killers until doomsday. We raise a flower to Atwar's vitality, to her heart and soul. We salute her pen with a flower. The perfumes of all the flowers will accompany Atwar until the final day of eternity.
