Editorial: The Crisis over Forming the Government

After the visit of the two main countries' (US and UK) foreign ministers, political leaders announced that they agreed to form a national unity government and reject measures that increase the people's suffering. Four months have passed since the elections, and a government does not exist at a time when the country is overwhelmed by chaos and instability. Responsibility should be the compass that leads the politicians to act according to the people's interests, and not according to their own parties' interests. No one – elected or not -- has the right to dominate the people; on the contrary, he should work on behalf of the people's interests. The politicians should prove that they are capable of dealing with the formation of the new government. Otherwise, they should seek other means through which they can solve their disagreements and carry out their responsibilities.
