Editorial: Who Saves Iraq?

Iraq has always been for all Iraqis, regardless of their religious or ethnic backgrounds. They live in unity and defend the country together. We ask all of Iraqi people with good intentions to work together to stop the bloodshed and to stand together to avoid the segregation. We call on our revered sheikhs and those who have sway over the people to speak in a way that can keep the public united, not torn. If there is any kind of disagreement, it is simply because there are different points of view. This disagreement must not lead to any kind of conflict and aggression because we rely on one text (Quran) that encourages goodness, peace and unity. We ask you, in the name God, in the name of the country and in the name of the one religion, to focus your efforts on the country's interests and avoid killing one another. We are all sons of this single, united country.
