Asso is an independent general political daily issued by Khandan Institution in Baghdad.

At a session of the trial of Saddam and his henchmen for the Anfal campaign yesterday, the attorney general, Munqith al-Fir'awn, confirmed that there is an audio cassette and other documents that prove that Saddam decided to use chemical weapons against the Kurds of northern Iraq.
