Heroin labs destroyed in Badakhshan

Two heroin-processing laboratories were destroyed in the north-eastern province of Badakhshan on December 3, officials said. Afghan National Army soldiers with the cooperation of US-led Coalition forces destroyed the labs in the Orgo and Wadoj districts, arrested the owners and seized weapons and narcotics. According to another report, the Afghan and the US soldiers have launched a search operation in Faizabad, which has disturbed local residents.
