Unidentified men threw a hand grenade at the Indian consulate in the southern province of Kandahar on January 25, but caused no casualties, officials said. A provincial security official, who did not want to be named, said the grenade was thrown at the consulate building from a speeding Toyota Corolla. Police have launched a manhunt, but no one has been arrested so far, the official said. Staff at the Indian embassy in Kabul said they were unaware of the incident.
