Kurdistan Parliament Condemns Danish Newspaper

The Kurdistan parliament has condemned the publication of cartoons (by a Danish newspaper that were deemed insulting to the Prophet Muhammed.) "Although the Kurdistan parliament supports freedom of speech and expression, we strongly condemn the irresponsible stance of the Danish newspaper, Jyllands-Posten, which by publishing the cartoons humiliated the Prophet Muhamad and Islam," according to a statement issued by the parliament. The statement called for legal questioning of the newspaper and its publishers.
