Chingiz Kadyraliev and his student colleague made a robot which responds to commands as a university project for 3,000 US dollars.



But experts interviewed by Ayday Tokonova say Kyrgyzstan is short on scientific research that could generate robot technology with a real practical application, for example replacing human labour for dangerous industrial jobs.
