Logar residents condemn suicide bombing

Thousands of residents of the central province of Logar condemned the recent terrorist attack in Spin Boldak, Kandahar province, which killed more than 25 and wounded dozens of others. Chanting slogans as they marched through the provincial centre, the demonstrators, who included many students, alleged that the attack was the handiwork of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence agency. Protesters shouted, “death to Pakistan” and “down with the enemies of Islam”, and asked the Afghan government to convey their protest to the United Nations Security Council and Human Rights Watch so as to have the perpetrators of these crimes brought to justice.
