Meeting of Neighbouring States

Al-Bayan is issued four times weekly by the Islamic Dawa Party, chaired by Iraqi prime minister Ibrahim al-Ja'afari.

Turkish prime minister Rajab Ardogan said (leaders from) Iraq's neighbouring states would meet in Tehran soon. He asserted that Iraq's resources, underground and on the ground, should be shared by all Iraqis. A diplomatic source in Ankara said that Turkey closely watched the latest developments in Iraq after the (shrine) was bombed. Meantime, Iraqi foreign minister Hooshiar Zeebari met an official Turkish delegation. The two sides discussed bilateral relations and commercial ties between the two countries.
