Baghdad’s morgue has run out of space as more and more bodies are delivered to it as a result of violence in the capital. The inspector-general of the health ministry, Adil Abdul Muhsin, says more than 100 bodies are being held at room temperature as the morgue refrigerators are full up. Muhsin said the morgue had received 8,000 bodies so far this year, compared with 10,150 for the whole of last year.
