Muqtada Calls for Unity and Solidarity Among Iraqis
Al-Adala is issued daily by the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq.
National Assembly members from the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq and its Badr organisation visited the young Shia cleric, Muqtada al-Sadr, at his home at Najaf. They discussed currents events in Iraq as well as options for ridding the country of the difficulties it has faced and helping to stabilise the situation. Sadr affirmed the importance of serving the people by opposing blasphemers and Saddam's henchmen, as well as working to have an independent Iraq by providing public services. He emphasised that Iraqis have unity and solidarity. He also said members of the Sadrist movement, Badr organisation and the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (which constitute some of the top Shia organisations) are also unified because the enemy wants to ignite a conflict and create a crisis to destabilise security.
