National Accord Front Supports New American Commander

The choice of new troop commander shows that the United States may have learned from its mistakes in Iraq, said the leader of the Sunni National Accord Front Adnan al-Dulaimi. Lieutenant General David Petraeus took charge of US forces in Iraq on Saturday. Dulaimi said his organization would support the American troops’ new leader so as to help the country return to safety and normality. He urged Petraeus to dissolve militias because this was the only way to achieve stability.
