Norway's Apology

As demonstrations continued throughout the Islamic world protesting the notorious cartoons (run in a Danish newspaper and republished in a Norwegian newspaper,) the government of Norway apologised to all Muslim communities. The Norwegian ambassador in Saudi Arabia apologised to Muslims on behalf of his government for the publication of the cartoons. He said his government strongly denounced the pictures and that his country respects all peoples and religions.
