President condemns Uruzgan attack

Afghan president Hamed Karzai on February 14 condemned the previous day's attack on Coalition forces in the southern province of Uruzgan which left four US soldiers dead. In a statement released in Kabul, the president expressed profound grief over the deaths of the four soldiers and extended his condolences to their families. Such attacks have been taking place in Afghanistan for a long time, and they result not in the deaths of both Coalition troops and Afghans, the president said in his statement.
