Supermarkets known for selling liquor were blown up in the early morning (Tuesday) in Baghdad's Karrada district. Police said there were no casualties but the front of stores adjacent to the markets were damaged. The police did not mention the motive behind the attack. Christians usually sell liquor, but most have given up the trade because of threats and bombings of their stores. They now sell alcohol secretly.
