The Iraqi president Jalal Talabani arrived in Tehran yesterday where he immediately met his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad And he is expected to meet the Iranian Supreme Spiritual Leader Ali Khaminei today. At the start of his meeting with the president, he called for "comprehensive help from Iran to combat terror" in Iraq. For his part, the Iranian president said, "We will provide all help that we can to our Iraqi brothers to restore and enhance security in Iraq."
