Talabani Says Relations with Syria Will Improve as Stability Returns in Iraq

Al-Sabah is a publicly-owned, independent daily.

President Jalal Talabani has said achieving stability and security within Iraq will create the preconditions for better relations with Syria. On a recent visit to Damascus, Talabani reached agreement on how to share water resources, and signed a series of trade deals.
