Three Million (Counterfeit) Iraqi Dinars Seized in Najaf

Al-Mada is issued daily by Al-Mada institution for Media, Culture, and Arts.

A Najaf police official said security forces arrested a man from Baghdad with three million counterfeited Iraqi dinars. The director-general of eliminating terror in Najaf, colonel Mohammed Abdul Wahid, said his staff has arrested a man from al-Bayya in Baghdad who had forged three million Iraqi dinars and wanted to exchange the fake currency in Najaf. He said the man was a member of a big forgery network. Security forces interrogated him to find out who else was involved in the gang.
