A Turkish parliamentary delegation led by Turhan Comez has arrived in northern Iraq to look at the situation in Kirkuk. Ankara is concerned that Kirkuk is undergoing population changes and that the local Turkoman people are losing out. The delegation will visit the towns of Tal-Afar and Tuz Khurmatu, which both have Turkoman communities, and will submit a detailed report to the Turkish parliament.
