United Nations Head to Visit Iraq

Al-Sabah is a daily independent publicly owned newspaper.

Sources at the Iraqi foreign ministry have confirmed that United Nations Secretary General Kofi Anan is to visit Iraq next week to meet Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and other senior government officials. The visit is expected to give a boost to the national reconciliation and dialogue process.
