US to provide 500 million dollars for reconstruction

The United States and Afghanistan have signed a memorandum of understanding under which the US will provide 500 million US dollars for reconstruction and economic recovery. The documents was signed by US ambassador Ronald Neumann and Afghan Finance Minister Anwar ul-Haq Ahadi in Kabul. The funding will go to four key sectors including education, healthcare, economic development and democracy-building over a five-year period.
