An explosion which tore through a convoy of vehicles of NATO-led security assistance force on November 18 in the Bagrami district east of the capital, Kabul killed one Portuguese soldier and wounded three others. A spokesman for the NATO-led International Security Assistance force in Kabul confirmed the explosion, adding that the dead and wounded soldiers have been evacuated to the military hospital of the troops in Kabul. The spokesman added that they are attempting to determine whether it was an old mine or an improvised explosive device. The incident came after two suicide attacks on ISAF force in Kabul last week.
