Due to the deteriorating security situation, Iraqi residents are taking responsibility for guarding their neighbourhoods at night to avoid criminal and terrorist attacks on their areas. They voluntarily organised special guard teams to deal with protecting their area, and some Sunni organizations have allocated 65 dollars per month for everyone who helps guard the mosques and the streets at night.
