Stability of Oil Product Prices

In his first press conference after being nominating for a second term, prime minister Ibrahim al-Ja'afari said the government does not intend to raise the prices of oil products, particularly kerosene. The ministerial council has approved allocating 50 million dollars for the Iraqi Red Crescent to assist Iraqis, and 36 million dollars to eradicate bird flu. He laid out his agenda for the next government, which includes rebuilding the country, improving services and security, eradicating unemployment and including all political blocs in the next government based on election results.
