Participation of Iraqi National List

President Jalal Talabani affirmed that all Iraqi political slates would participate in decision-making in the new national unity government. He emphasized that the Iraqi National List must participate in the new government and that the Kurdistan Alliance would consider its exclusion a "red line" for the Kurdish slate. Talabani, (head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan) said the Kurdish slate would not participate in the new government if one of the main lists is not included.
