Eliminating Administrative and Financial Corruption

Deputy head of the integrity commission, Moosa Faraj, said the commission must be free of political and official pressure in order to eliminate corruption and to respond to judicial board decisions without considering the sectarian, ethnic, religious and political backgrounds of corrupt individuals. He noted that Kurdistan region president Masood Barazani had insisted that corruption be eliminated in all government offices and that the Kurdistan region would no longer be a safe haven for corrupt individuals.
