The soldiers' affairs department of the defense ministry has submitted a request to the council of ministers and finanice ministry that employees of the dissovled Iraqi army each receive a Ramadhan Eid payment of 66 dollars. Ali Al-Dabbagh, an Iraqi government spokesman, said that every Iraqi citizen would get seven dollars in the form of food ration coupons. The money is expected to be given out before Eid.
