There is a big difference between bird flu and the flu of terrorism. The first cannot harm someone who stops eating poultry and eggs, while the latter affects all people, and does not take into consideration ethics, morals, religion or human values. I would like to ask those who keep defending the so-called resistance: Is killing day labourers resistance? Attacking funeral processions? Targeting the police and security forces? Setting off car bombs randomly on roads and near public markets? If one person says that he praises the resistance because he is afraid it will target him, can he, from a religious point of view, build his political future on killing innocent people because he cannot condemn the terror that lies under his gown? The terrorists try to stop the country's development and paralyze the daily life of Iraqis. The worst part is that they are still calling for help under the premise that they are weak minority who cannot confront government terror. (The author is referencing Sunni Arab groups who have accused the Shia-led government and its security forces of discriminating against Sunnis.) We pray to God that any state supporting terrorists suffers the same as the Iraqis.
