Tribal Leaders Support Government

Al-Ittihad is published daily by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

Twenty tribal leaders and prominent figures from Najaf have issued a declaration denouncing parliamentary speaker Mahmood al-Mishhadani for claiming that they had complained that the government had targeted them in the battle of Najaf. They declared their support for the government and backed its efforts to eliminate extremists from all communities.
