Parliament Bloc Bigger than Coalition

Fadhila party secretary-general Nademm al-Jabiri said that his party will be out of the circle that supports (prime minister Ibrahim) al-Jafaari’s government if it does not put into practice Fadhila's "national rescue project." The agenda concentrates on eradicating sectarianism, improving security and services and allowing all political entities to participate in politics. He hinted at the possibility of forming a parliamentary coalition larger than (Ja'afari's United Iraqi Alliance, of which Fadhila is a member) but did not name it. He said that it could win two-thirds of parliamentary votes that are required for the prime minister's post, as stated in the constitution.
