Many children in Tajikistan still attend summer camps, a legacy of the Pioneer youth movement of the Soviet period, but not all parents are confident that their children will be safe there, eat properly or gain much from the experience.
The audio programme, in Russian and Tajik, went out on national radio stations in Tajikistan, as part of IWPR project work funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
