Kurdistani Nwe is a political daily issued by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

There are 35 billionaires and one thousand millionaires in the Sulaimaniyah region.

Abdullah Haji Saeed, an aide to PUK Secretary General Jalal Takabani, said that between 1998 to 2006, you could rarely find millionaires in Iraqi Kurdistan. He said the stable security situation, investment opportunities and and a growing number of jobs were the main factors behind the region's economic development.
