Kurds discuss budget and peshmerga

Al-Mada is issued daily by Al-Mada institution for Media, Culture and Arts.

The premier of the Kurdistan region Nijrivan Barazani said negotiations with the central government in Baghdad on issues including the budget and peshmerga have been positive. He said it has been agreed that Kurdistan will be allocated 17 per cent of the Iraqi budget – a decision that will be discussed in parliament.
