Afghan security forces arrested four suspected terrorists in the southern province of Kandahar on February 14. The men, identified as Pakistani and Afghan nationals, are alleged to have entered the province to carry out acts of terrorism. They have reportedly admitted guilt and said they received terrorist training in Pakistan before being dispatched to Kandahar. Provincial officials said the information received from the detained men indicated that they played a part in the recent suicide attacks in the province.
